lunalia

I was honoured to be invited to collaborate with Maja Jantar in 2017 on the improvisatory soundart project, Lunalia - a collaborative process of independently generating sound (short improvised soundtracks produced every day for the length of a moon cycle) for digital overlay/combination. This process was developed by Maja Jantar and a rawlings in 2012 and has been continued by Maja as a way of working with many artists internationally.

Maja explains more:

“LUNALIA, lunalala, lunala, lunal, luna, la lune.

luna: as in moon, tree, moth.
alia: almost as in non-normative forms of speech.

Concept developed, tried, enjoyed, explored by a rawlings and Maja Jantar in 2012. Now expanded to other voices, though the outtake stays the same - two bodies/voices, exploring sounds, languages, writings and noises. Recording every night during the course of one moon cycle - here from full moon to full moon.”
