Welcome to Kinship Workshop’s 2025 Programme. There are 4 live, in-person workshops this year, and to begin the season, we want to invite you to a special Launch Day Online Event on Sunday 23rd February from 11am-4pm (UK time GMT/ UTC). This event is free and you can join from wherever you are in the world.

To join this event, we have asked you to subscribe to our newsletter. This will help us improve how we communicate with you. To thank you for joining our newsletter, you will also receive a 5% discount on all 2025 workshops when booking before 23 February.

10:45-11:00

Join on Zoom and settle in

11:00-13:30 KINSHIP@HOME

An online nature connection workshop which includes the invitation to take our audio (/text) guides out to a local green space and follow some embodiment practices to help you get to know the nature around you more intimately. You will need: clothes to go outside to a local green space (this could be your garden or balcony!), a mobile device with access to the internet, headphones and a timepiece (watch or phone)

14:00-14:45 NATURE CONNECTION STORIES WITH SPECIAL GUESTS

We will be joined by special guests Mol Danter, Chand Starin Basi and Camilla Nelson who will share about their work in the arts and social settings, and how nature connection informs what they do.

15:00-15:30 AN INTRODUCTION TO THIS YEAR’S WORKSHOP LOCATIONS

A whistle stop tour of where we’ll be heading this year: Isle of Bute, Hebden Bridge, Epping Forest and Abercych, plus little more information about Kinship Workshop and what to expect.

15:30-16:00 AN INVITATION TO JOIN PRACTICE GROUP 2025

We share more about how our free practice group works plus an invitation to join this year’s practice group. Practice group is open to anyone who has attended at least one in-person or online workshop (Launch Day Kinship@Home counts!)

ACCESS: This online workshop will use Zoom (captioning available). Any audio/ visual material will have captioning and we will do our best to provide audio description where appropriate/ possible. There will be someone attending to the chat function throughout the workshop. Regular rest pauses will be spread throughout the day as well as time spent away from the screen. We will encourage participants to follow their own pace and take additional breaks if needed. Please get in touch if you have any further access requirements or questions.

On booking your place, you will receive a ZOOM LINK and instructions on how to prepare for the day by email in the week before the event.
